Skøn dag ved Filibaba - Amazing day at Filibaba

Endnu et inspirerende og dejligt kursus blev afholdt ved Filibaba lige ved vejen, der går ned til  Kafuefloden. Deltagerne var meget aktivt lyttende og engagerede i refleksionerne over hvilke grønsager, frugter, afgrøder og husdyr, der var stjerne, cash cows og spørgsmålstegn i BCG matrixen. Ligesom de også imponerende hurtigt fangede Value Proposition ift. mulige kunder sammen med muligt samarbejde ift. at forhandle priser med marketeers. Det førte til en god snak om andelstanken i Danmark, og hvordan den kan omsættes til praksis i Zambia. Da vi nåede til Activity Bases Costing og bogføring, havde vi en rigtig fin snak omkring læring på tværs af generationer, hvor børn og børnebørn kan holde regnskaberne for de ældre, der ikke kan læse og skrive, mens de lærer fra de ældre, der har viden og erfaring omkring dyrkning af afgrøder og husdyrhold. Igen sluttede vi dagen af med at alle fik mulighed for at afprøve ny viden i form af en lille frødonation.

Another inspiring and wonderful course was held at Filibaba, right by the road that goes down to the Kafue River. The participants were very active listeners and engaged in the reflections on which vegetables, fruits, crops and livestock were stars, cash cows and question marks in the BCG matrix. They also impressively quickly grasped the Value Proposition in relation to potential customers together with possible cooperation in relation to negotiating prices with marketeers. This led to a good talk about the cooperative idea in Denmark and how it can be translated into practice in Zambia. When we got to Activity Bases Costing and bookkeeping, we had a really nice talk about learning across generations, where children and grandchildren can keep the accounts for the elderly who cannot read and write, while they learn from the elderly who have knowledge and experience in growing crops and livestock. Again, we ended the day with everyone getting the opportunity to try out new knowledge in the form of a small seed donation.
